Truman School students were treated to an incredible live performance this week! Our students had the chance to experience the smooth sounds of jazz, from the soulful keys of the piano to the bright energy of the brass and bass.
It was a wonderful morning of music and rhythm that had everyone tapping their toes. A huge thank you to the talented musicians for sharing their craft and inspiring our young music lovers!

At the same time families were in the library building their parent team and participating in team-building challenges. Shoutout to our spaghetti and marshmallow challenge winners, who took home a copy of our latest school-wide read—readers make leaders!

USTA New England provided Iota Chi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and King Robinson School students the opportunity to engage in a tennis clinic. Sorors and King Robinson staff became tennis coaches so that students could have the opportunity to learn to play tennis, while emphasizing healthy eating and exercise! Today, our NHPS Education Pathway students from Cross, Hillhouse & Metropolitan Academy took a major step toward their future careers at the Summer Education Career Fair hosted at Southern Connecticut State University!
It was an action-packed day of networking and discovery as 60 students connected with local leaders to scout out summer employment!
