LEAP begins today!

If you submitted a bus change request for LEAP last week, please be patient as transportation updates and assigns new buses for each of your child(ren) city wide. Due to high volume of requests, this can take up to two weeks to go into effect.

If your child is not yet assigned a bus, their original dismissal plan will continue as normal. If you need to fill out an alternative address form, please visit the school's office to obtain a copy.

If your child has an assigned bus already in place, he/she will be placed on the bus to LEAP starting today.

Bus 5 has now left Barack Obama. Please be at your child's bus stop to retrieve them from the bus!

This is a reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Monday, September 21. Remember, every day counts. Congratulations again to our family who won the perfect attendance raffle for a one-night stay at the Cambria Hotel in New Haven.On Tuesday, we will continue with our regular school hours, which begin at 8:20 AM., and tardy passes are issued at 8:40 a.m.

Parents, please note that our Bus Six was about 20 minutes late.

Join us for our annual Open House! We are hosting two sessions, please join us on September 16th for one or the other.

In honor of Labor Day, NHPS will be closed on Monday, September 7. Additionally, staff at New Haven Public Schools will have a professional training day. As a result, students will not attend school on Tuesday, September 8. School will resume on Wednesday, September 9th, and students are expected to arrive by 8:20 AM.
