Join us on Thursday, March 12th at 8:30 AM as we proudly celebrate Read Across America with our partners from Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) and United Way. This special literacy event brings the joy of stories to life and encourages our scholars to Read, Grow, and Inspire, just like the theme shown in this year’s beautiful poster. Together, we will spark imagination, nurture a love of reading, and build meaningful connections that support literacy throughout our community. We look forward to a joyful morning filled with books, creativity, and inspiration for all our students.

New Haven: “This is Home” Community Art Event

The Yale Center for British Art invites youth ages 5–24 to create artwork exploring the meaning of “home.” The event will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 11 am to 4 pm. Selected works will be showcased at a special exhibition at City Hall on April 9.

We have multiple guests coming in to help celebrate Black History Month, but here, Barack Obama, you don't celebrate black history for just one month; we go beyond that month. However, we are definitely highlighting it tomorrow at 10 AM!
