  • We are shocked and saddened by the devastating violence that has erupted in the Middle East since Hamas militants began a full-scale attack on Israel Saturday. For some in our community, the sense of fear and grief is quite personal, as they have loved ones whose lives are directly affected by acts of terrorism and war.

     

    Moments like these can be difficult to process, especially for children. As our students struggle to navigate a range of emotions — from fear and sadness to confusion and anger — we must provide a space for them to feel safe, have difficult conversations, and freely share their thoughts and emotions.
