Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
Tomorrow at noon is the final day to purchase tickets for the National Junior Honor Society event. We need to stop selling at that time to prepare for the included pizza dinner, snacks, and drinks. Please note, tickets will not be available at the door. We will also have NJHS chocolate-covered pretzels for $1, sour gummy candy for $2, and a Sour Patch Kid - Can You Guess How Many Contest with 2 guesses for $1. So allow your kids to bring some money to spend!
Remember, only students who attend BRADA are allowed to go to the dance. According to district policy, if a student is absent on the day of an afterschool event, they are not permitted to attend or participate. Make sure your child is not absent on Friday if they plan to attend.
We’re excited for a fun evening with music, food, and a 360 photobooth. The theme is Starry Night, and students are coming dressed and ready to enjoy themselves.

If you were not able to attend the parent meeting. Please clink the link for the information.

This is for grades 6-8, and the cost is $10. The theme this year is "A Starry Night". Get dressed up and let's have a good time. Tickets are on sale now! See Mr. Bussey in Room 156 or during dismissal in the cafeteria!
Tickets include dinner, drinks, a snack, dancing, and lots of fun.
The dance starts at 5 pm and ends at 7 pm.
Students cannot have had any suspensions in May, nor can they be considered chronically absent.

As we enter the spring semester, I am sharing important information about our upcoming state and district testing schedule. These assessments help measure student progress, improve instruction, and support every student at Betsy Ross Arts and Design Academy.
Testing Details:
- Tests: Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) and district progress monitoring.
- Schedule: From May 4th with 8th-grade Science, then all grades in Math and Reading over three weeks.
- Purpose: Provide a "snapshot" of student learning aligned with state standards.
How to Help Your Child:
- Ensure they get enough rest.
- Provide a nutritious breakfast.
- Make sure they arrive on time.
- Encourage a positive attitude.
Thank you for supporting your child’s education. We are proud of our students' efforts and look forward to their success.
Best regards,
Jameka Sayles

For this year's food drive, we’ll be accepting canned food and non-perishable items! We're not accepting clothes or food with nuts.
Prizes will be awarded to the class that collects the most items during their B-Day 5th Period class. You don’t have to wait until your B-Day to bring them; you can bring items every day this week.
This event will take place from April 20th to April 24th. We may even extend this into next week!
Thank you!

Please mark your calendars and come ready to receive some free groceries! Check out the flyer for more information!!!
