The library will be closed for AP testing starting at 7:45am today. 

  • Attention Students and Faculty!  Next week is Spirit Week!!

  • On Monday represent your school - Underclassmen should represent Career.  Seniors represent your college or secondary program you are attending after high school, and teachers represent their college or Career.

  • Tuesday is Country vs Country Club - Dress fancy like you're at a country club or dress country like you're down south. 

  • Wednesday is Tacky tourist day!- Dress like you're going on vacation

  • Thursday is Iconic Duo Day - Dress like an iconic duo from a tv show, movie or the media.

  • Friday is Uncles vs Aunties - Dress like an auntie or uncle from your culture.

Just a reminder: All outfits must stay school-appropriate. Let’s see your school spirit!!  

  • Attention Juniors! The link to register for the Seal of Biliteracy test is now available. You can find posters with the link to register on the first floor and on the doors of the guidance suite. The deadline to register for the Seal of Biliteracy is May 15th.  

  • Attention Seniors!  Prom tickets will be on sale for $60 each through May 8th during all lunch waves. Tickets purchased between May 9th through May 15th must be bought from Ms. Bryson or Mr. Schneider in room 218.  All prom court packets are due May 1st.  If you are bringing a guest you must have a guest form filled out and handed in to Mr. True. 

  • Looking for ways to build your leadership skills, sharpen your public speaking skills and stand out on your college resume?  Then consider joining the Morning Announcement team!  See Mrs. Gilman in the library or email her if you are interested!  

  • The Peter Evans Alumni Association Scholarship is now open to apply. The scholarship is a $1,000 one-time grant to a graduating senior from Career High School who MUST BE A RESIDENT OF NEW HAVEN. The scholarship is named in honor of Peter Evans, a New Haven native and storied basketball coach and teacher at Richard C. Lee High School and Hill Regional Career High School. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2026.  Please check your Google classroom.
