This month we will be joined by Katie Stachowicz, a Neuroscience Ph.D. student in Yale’s Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program! She will share her research on neuropsychiatric disorders. April is School Library Month. The library contest is to design your own bookmark. The winner will receive a $5 gift card to Starbucks as well as be entered into the CASL Library Bookmark Design Contest. Entry forms with the rules and bookmark template are available in the library and are due by Tuesday, April 21st at 2:15pm. The winner will be announced during Morning Announcements on Wednesday, April 22nd.

The Sophomore Class is selling chocolate covered apples from Apples, Etc. Treat yourself, your friends, or your family — each apple is 1.5 lbs and are $14 each. The Peter Evans Alumni Association Scholarship is now open to apply. The scholarship is a $1,000 one-time grant to a graduating senior from Career High School who MUST BE A RESIDENT OF NEW HAVEN. The scholarship is named in honor of Peter Evans, a New Haven native and storied basketball coach and teacher at Richard C. Lee High School and Hill Regional Career High School. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2026. Please check your Google Classroom to apply.
