Tomorrow, November 11th, we honor and thank all the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.  Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication for protecting our freedom will never be forgotten. As President John F. Kennedy once said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but live by them.” 

  • Come join Crystal Cordova to show love and appreciation to children while earning community service hours through a fun and creative activity making cards from 2:15pm-3:15pm this Thursday, November 13th, in the Drama Room.  She will also be talking about the amazing work of a Child Life Specialist and how they help kids feel supported, comforted, and cared for during tough times.   

  • Ready to show some love for your favorite books?  In honor of the season of gratitude, the November library contest is to share a book that has made a difference in your life.  Entry forms are available in the library and must be returned to Mrs. Gilman by Friday, November 21st at 2:15pm.  The winner will be announced on Monday, November 24th during morning announcements.  This contest is open to both students and faculty!!  

  • Seniors, are you interested in trade school? Lincoln Tech, one of the most prominent trade schools in Connecticut, will be coming to Career on Monday, November 17th. They will be in the Library from 10 to 11am to present on the various programs they have and answer questions. If you are interested in attending, please sign-up on your Google Classroom under "Lincoln Tech Rep Visit Sign-Up." 

  • Attention everyone!  The Homecoming dance will be on Friday, December 5th from 6:00pm until 10:00pm in the cafeteria.  Tickets are on sale during the lunch waves and will be $10.  If you are interested in submitting a Homecoming Court Application it must be completed and returned to Mrs. Bryson or Mrs. Davitt-Wells by November 21st @ 3:00pm.  Applications are available from Ms. Davitt-Wells in room 207.
