The New Haven Public Schools (NHPS) is committed to strengthening the resources available for New Haven youth by bringing together, families, community, schools, peers, government, neighbors and connecting and focusing these efforts so that they are collective, cumulative, consistent and effective. NHPS manages a variety of state and federal grants that support these goals, helping provide a wide range of services to our students and their families, and is currently reviewing the qualifications of potential partners to help carry out future grant funded initiatives or collaborate on district initiatives.
We are currently requesting qualifications for the 2021-2021 school year from service providers in the areas of focus listed below:
Afterschool Enrichment Programs
Students in Foster Care Chronic Absenteeism
Drop Out Prevention
If you or your organization would like to be considered as a partner or provider for summer programs and/or the 2021-2022 NHPS school year, please complete the Request for Qualifications form at the link below or the attached Request for Qualifications form which is a word document. Please ensure you review the attached information regarding Insurance and have the required supplemental documents ready for upload in the online form prior to starting the online RFQ application process. If your organization chooses to use the attached form, please ensure the RFQ is submitted with all supporting documents requested (attached), and submitted via email to Keisha Redd-Hannans at Keisha.firstname.lastname@example.org and cc: Zoraida Berríos at email@example.com on or before 4:00pm April 30th, 2021. Because of the unique goals and requirements of different grants, there are no uniform provider qualifications, and each respondent will be evaluated based on how well they align with the needs of a particular grant.
Organizations applying through the google portal must be able to log into Google, any Google account will do – or create one for this application if necessary, in order to attach documents electronically.

Future grant opportunities are contingent on availability of funds and submission of the RFQ guarantees only that your submitted materials will be read and considered.
