Other work experience before Wilbur Cross: Researcher at Yale University/Yale New Haven Hospital; worked as a guidance intern in the Cheshire Public School System
Years of counseling: This is my first year of counseling, and I love it! I received my masters degree in May of 2004 and was eager to start here at Cross.
Extra curricular
activities: knitting , playing golf, watching the Red Sox, going to
football games, shopping, reading.
Why do you like counseling at Wilbur Cross H.S.: The students!! Thry
are wonderful and there is never a dull moment! Also, the staff is so friendly
and our guidance department is like a big family. I love waking up to come to
work every morning, and each day is exciting and interesting. But it’s
the kids that make this job what it is.
What is your main goal or personal goal as a counselor? My main goal is to reach students and make an impact on their lives. Its very important to me to make good connections with my students. Each day I hope to learn more and become a better counselor.
