Nice Job Biotech Teams
12 biotechnology students in 6 teams represented Wilbur Cross at the CT Innovation EXPO '08 at the Hartford Convention Center on Saturday, May 10, 2008. This is the first year the "Biotechnology Research and Development" online course was included in the CT Innovation EXPO, and Wilbur Cross Students performed very well against other Biotechnology Research and Development courses taught in Norwalk, Hamden, East Haddam, Oxford, Pathways (Hartford) and Sports & Medical (Hartford) high schools.
Students worked together, overcame numerous technical obstacles, and honed their 21st Century skills which will help them in high school, into higher education, and their working lives.
Information about this event and our course can be found at http://innovation.skills21.org/ and http://ctcconline.org/
