In the Applied Technology Lab students are creating handmade space shuttles out of plastic bottles. Before they built their space shuttles, they wrote about how they ate and how they felt about living in space with a large number of people. Prior to building their shuttles, students were equipped with hands-on tools such as razors, markers, scissors, and toothpicks.
