23rd Annual Science Fair Is Here

New Haven Public Schools Presents the 23rd Science Fair Program


New Haven, CT (May 15, 2017) -  Over 600 student scientists will be showing off their science fair projects at the 23rd Annual New Haven Science Fair May 15-17, with judging on May 16, and public viewing on the afternoon of May 16 and May 17 at Yale Commons, Woolsey Hall at Yale University (500 College Street).  Awards ceremony at Sheffield Sterling Strathcona Hall (1 Prospect Street) at 6:30 pm on May 17. 

Note, the fair is CLOSED to the public/parents while students are there Tuesday morning being judged.

Schedule of events: 

Monday, May 15  
•  4:30pm: Tutorial for new judges (Commons)
•  5:00pm – 8:00pm: Preliminary judging (dinner served) (Commons)

Tuesday, May 16
• 9:30am – 12:30pm: Final judging and oral presentation by students (breakfast and lunch served)
   Note: Closed to general public.(Commons)
• 1:00pm – 6:00pm: Public viewing (Commons)

Wednesday, May 17 
•  9:00am – 9:00pm: Public viewing (Commons)
•  6:30pm – 8:30pm: Awards ceremony (Sheffield Sterling Strathcona Hall)
