Magnet Schools of America Lauds NHPS Schools

Magnet Schools of America, a national nonprofit education association, annually recognize magnet schools that “demonstrate a high commitment to academic standards, curriculum innovation, desegregation/diversity efforts, specialized teaching staffs and parent & community involvement.

This year, 10 of our schools received merit awards.   There are two categories: Excellence-top merit award which is only awarded to a select group of magnet school and Distinction; the second highest award of recognition.  It is great honor to have 2 of our high schools awarded the top recognition of Excellence-Career & COOP!

NHPS has been a champion of magnet schools for over 20 years.  These awards remind us of the good work that happens within our magnet schools that embrace diversity and unique themes to support learning for all students!

Congratulations to all our recipients!
