MAYOR TONI HARP VISITS THE NHPS STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE ELECTIONS

On Thursday, April 7th and Friday, April 8th, New Haven high school students will take part in the second election for student representatives on the Board of Education.  One current tenth grade student will be elected to represent the New Haven student body from 2016-2018. 
 
Mayor Toni Harp will visit Hillhouse High School on Thursday between 10:15 a.m.-10:45 a.m. to show her support for the students as they cast their votes.  All ballots cast will be counted starting at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the City Hall, after which time a winner will be announced.  
 
The candidates have been working with passion and diligence. We encourage you to come out in support of the power of student voice in New Haven.
