On Thursday, April 7th and Friday, April 8th, New Haven high school students will take part in the second election for student representatives on the Board of Education.  One current tenth grade student will be elected to represent the New Haven student body. 
 
In preparation for Election Day, on Wednesday, March 23rd, seven candidates running for the seats will participate in a Candidate Forum to formally introduce themselves to the collective body of New Haven public schools.  This event will afford the candidates the opportunity to share their inspiration for running and their ideas on impacting education across the city.
 
The candidates have been working with passion and diligence. We encourage you to come out and hear our rising leaders’ plans and initiatives as they campaign to bring student voice to the Board of Education table.
