The goal of the Celentano and Hyde Go Red Day is to help educate our students and parents to live a healthy lifestyle and to promote awareness of resources that are available throughout the Greater New Haven community.

The high school students of Hyde will conduct health lessons for K – 8 students focused on nutrition, the circulatory system, diabetes, anti-smoking, wellness and sports medicine. Students, parents, and staff will participate in a Fit Room that will include a Zumba instructor and boxing exercises.

Students and parents will also receive presentations from various community organizations, such as Yale New Haven Hospital, the New Haven Health Department, Yale University and more.
