Citywide Parent Leadership Team breakfast survey

Parents from the Citywide Parent Leadership Team have created a survey to get feedback about breakfast options in New Haven Schools. Please consider taking a moment to read the survey and fill it out.
New Haven Public Schools is committed to serving healthy meals that meet federal school lunch nutrition guidelines. As part of our ongoing effort to improve our service to students, the district works closely with the city’s Food Policy Council and other partners to ensure healthy options in our schools. Over the years, the district has taken many steps to seek healthier meal choices, including breakfast. We have eliminated sugary flavored milk and have added reduced sugar cereals to the options available. New Haven has been a leader in providing salad bars in schools and reducing the amount of processed foods served in our cafeteria.
The district is proud of the work we have done to provide healthy and nutritious meals for students in our schools. We also welcome feedback from parents and look forward to having conversations about how we can continuously improve our services to students.
