The University of New Haven Outstanding High School Senior Program (OHSSP) provides high performing seniors with the opportunity to leave their high schools and take 4-5 college classes at UNH during the spring semester. Candidates are usually in the top 10% of their class with strong academic achievement and a well-developed sense of maturity. The highly competitive selection process includes application, essay and an interview and is facilitated through the ISSP Coordinators in each high school. Acceptance into the UNH OHSSP is a tremendous honor for these students and for their high schools!
The ten seniors accepted this year include Asmaa Abdelati, Briana Belton Robinson, Selma Sahin, Kenya Thigpen, and Whitney White from Hill Regional Career High School; Matthew Bromell, Jeanine Strother, and Eric Walker from Hillhouse; Dwight Burkett from Hyde Leadership School; and Sarah Putney from the Sound School.
