Worthington Hooker School excels at High Note Music Festival

The Worthington Hooker Concert Band and Arpeggios Chorus each received the highest score of “Superior” at the annual High Note Music Festival held last week at Lake Compounce.  The groups received high scores of 96 and 95 out of 100 respectively as they swept the awards in their divisions.  Band and Arpeggios director Ann Page led student groups through performances of “Jazz me Blues” arrangement by john Edmonson and “Follow the River” by James Searingen.  Principal Sheryl Hershonick was on hand along with Ms. Page to accept the awards with the students.
