FREE RESOURCE FAIR FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
 
NEW HAVEN – The Student Services Department of the New Haven Board of Education is holding a free Resource Fair for Parents of Children with Disabilities on Thursday, April 29 from 6pm to 8pm.  The Resource Fair will be held at Hill Regional Career High School which is located at 140 Legion Avenue in New Haven.
            Parents will be able to meet representatives from local agencies and organizations in the community who provide various services for children with disabilities as well as browse the informational booths and obtain materials for their families.
            Agencies will include Allie’s Dream, ACES, African Caribbean American Parent of Children with Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Resource Center, Chapel Haven, Cornell Scott Hill Health Center, Department of Developmental Services, Easter Seals, ECAT, Job Corp, Kennedy Center (Mobility Training), Professional Secure Assistance, SARAH, Social Security, Southern Connecticut State University, Start on Success Program (Gateway), Yale Child Study Center, Youth at Work, and many more. Refreshments will be provided.
