At the New Haven Public Schools (NHPS) we believe that, although the school is the primary place for learning, the community also has a vital role to play in the success of our schools and our children.
NHPS works diligently with community partners to develop programs that directly serve our students, both during the school year and in the summer months. From financial support for important programs to individual time spent in a classroom helping a student improve their reading skills, community support and involvement is critical to helping our students know that their success is important to all of us.
