New Haven School Change is an organization of concerned citizens who are committed to enacting critical changes in New Haven Public Schools (NHPS).
We are founded on the fundamental belief that all children in New Haven can achieve at much higher levels than today, and that the adults surrounding our students – educators, administrators, regulators, politicians, and parents – must change the status quo in education in order to achieve these results. We believe that every decision facing the education of students in New Haven must be based on the ability to improve student achievement.
This is why we are campaigning in support of the School Reform Initiative proposed by Mayor John DeStefano Jr. and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Reginald Mayo.

New Haven Public School Foundation, Inc. embarked on this important new campaign to better inform and involve the community in the development of the proposed reform initiative for district schools. Working with the non-profit and business communities, community-based organizations, parents, teachers, administrators and the community at large, the campaign will:
New Haven Public School Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to mobilizing and distributing resources that support and enhance public school education in New Haven. In addition to promoting school causes and advocating for change and development, the New Haven Public School Foundation also administers the school volunteers program, mentorships, and mini-grants for special programs.
