OUR LIBRARY

The Nathan Hale Library Media Center is the hub of our school. On its walls lies the highly regarded “Life of Nathan Hale” mural, painted by WPA artists in 1938.

Our library houses over 13,000 books, and there are nine computers for student use. Our three TVs are cable-ready, and our drop down screen is available for multiple class use. We are extremely proud of our well-equipped primary loft that contains fiction and nonfiction reading bins and a story gallery.

Nathan Hale has been and continues to be a Library Power School since 1996. We are flexibly scheduled so that classes are free to browse, check out books and research as needed.
