SPMT
School Planning Management Team
The SPMT “is the central organizing body of the school. It consists of the building principal, teachers, parents and support staff. Its major function is to develop and monitor a Comprehensive School Plan for the academic, social climate and staff development goals of students and adults in the school. The presence of parents and teachers on this decision-making body balances representation and input.”
The Nathan Hale SPMT meets to make decisions about school issues, curriculum, and activities. Attendance at SPMT is an opportunity for the school community to exchange ideas and plan events. The Nathan Hale SPMT meets on the third Wednesday of every month. Each meeting has an agenda led by a facilitator, along with a time-keeper and note taker. Minutes are provided to all staff members and presented at the PTO meetings.
