Curriculum Framework: Vision | Principles | Foreword | Documents
Connecticut Technology Literacy Challenge Grant - 1999

Bob Berkowitz, co-founder of the Big6 Information Problem-Solving Process,
works with the Library Media & Technology Curriculum Committee to revise and recode the existing curriculum. The new Integrated Information Literacy Curriculum is "under reconstruction" with  the Big6 as the framework for the curriculum. This curriculum can only be implemented through the COLLABORATION between classroom teachers, library media specialists, technology facilitators and other instructional specialists.
This first workshop took place on August 30, 31 and September 1st in New Haven. (Picture above)
Bob Berkowitz presented two other workshops on Saturday, January 29th (in collaboration with CEMA - an all day workshop at East Rock Global Studies Magnet School), and on Monday, January 31st (in collaboration with Mr. Willie Freeman, the Social Studies Supervisor and the library media specialists).
