Athletic Policy
1. Schoolwork is the most important at Career High School. Any student with
poor grades, failing courses will be subject to a probation period.
2. All injuries or illness must be reported to one of the coaches immediately,
so that appropriate care can be taken.
3. Students suspended from school will not be allowed to practice, dress
or travel with the team until the suspension is completed.
4. All members of the team are expected to attend ALL practices, and games
unless they are absent from or suspended school.
5. There is No Policy that governs equal playing time for all athletes on
the team.
6. All uniforms must be returned at the end of the season. All players will
be held Financially responsible for lost, damaged or stolen equipment.
7. All New Haven Board of Education and CIAC rules will be followed.
8. There is absolutely NO playing on outside teams, games or leagues during
team season.
9. If a student athlete is involved in behavior inside or outside of school,
that the administration considers being inappropriate, the student/athlete
maybe removed from the team. The administration has sole discretion.
